This Privacy Policy describes how Jason Meredith (“I”, “me”, or “my”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit jgmeredith.com (the “Site”).

Information I Collect

Information you provide directly

• Email address — collected when you create an account. Used to authenticate you, send verification emails, and process password reset requests.
• Password — stored as a secure one-way hash. I never have access to your plain-text password.

Information collected automatically

• Session data — a session token is created when you sign in and stored in your browser. This keeps you authenticated between visits and expires automatically.

I do not use third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. I do not collect your name, phone number, location, or payment information.

How I Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Send transactional emails (email verification, password reset)
• Control access to role-restricted content on the Site

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:

• Resend — processes outbound transactional emails (verification, password reset). Your email address is transmitted to Resend only when sending these messages.
• Prisma Data Platform / Neon — hosts the PostgreSQL database where account data is stored. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, I will remove your email address and associated data within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

Cookies

The Site sets one session cookie used exclusively for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
